Jennifer S. Luong is a Partner at SSG.
In both law firm and in-house settings, Jennifer has represented developers, retailers and institutional and non-institutional investors in all areas of real estate, including the acquisition, disposition, leasing, and financing of both commercial and residential projects. As general counsel of the U.S. branch of an international real estate developer, she oversaw all legal matters in the development, entitlement, construction, subdivision, and financing of a $1B+ mixed-use project in downtown Los Angeles. She has also advised lenders in both commercial and residential loan originations and workouts, and has counseled on corporate structuring and governance matters.
Jennifer has guest-lectured in various law school classes, served as a panelist at the Benjamin S. Crocker Symposium and at the USC Gould School of Law Real Estate Law and Business Forum, and was a speaker at the ABA Forum on Construction Law. She has also enjoyed hosting career days for students from grade school through law school.
Jennifer received a Bachelor of Arts degree with high honors from the University of California, Berkeley, with a major in Architecture and a minor in City and Regional Planning, and a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School. Jennifer is admitted to practice law in California, the District of Columbia, and New York.
