William Lok
Senior Counsel
William Lok is Senior Counsel at SSG.
Before joining SSG, William served as in-house counsel to a private hospitality group where he negotiated the acquisition and disposition of luxury hotels and resorts, and advised on day-to-day business operations and corporate governance. William also has experience in business litigation, having represented institutional clients in various types of issues, including fraud and breach of contract, unfair competition, and partnership disputes.
While in law school, William served as a full-time extern for the Tax Division of the United States Attorney's Office, where he advised on the procedural requirements of the Internal Revenue Code, and on the applicability of the United States Bankruptcy Code to situations involving delinquent taxpayers.
William received a Bachelor 's of Business Administration degree from Zicklin School of Business (Baruch College) and a Juris Doctor degree from the UCLA School of Law. William is admitted to practice law in California and the District of Columbia.
